There are beautiful sandy beaches all along the North Wales coast.  The most convenient family beach can be found alongside the many attractions at Barmouth. For a quieter beach you can enjoy with your children or dog, try Fairbourne beach. Alternatively you can park in Fairbourne itself and catch the steam train to the beach café where you can grab a cream tea or snack and then go onto Barmouth via the ferry.
